Job summary

NC State University is seeking a ClassTech Support Analyst in Raleigh, NC. This role delivers Tier 1/2 tech support for classroom and conference room AV systems, imaging PCs, and problem resolution across Crestron, Extron, and AMX control platforms.

The position includes supervising up to 20 student technicians, training staff, and coordinating with campus partners. A two-year degree plus IT experience are required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and the posted salary range.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or bachelor’s with IT experience as described in job requirements.
• Experience installing/troubleshooting classroom AV systems and control systems (Crestron/Extron/AMX).
• Strong ability to diagnose network and directory issues and work with end users.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for classroom and conference room technology, including projectors, video walls, displays, AV processors, touch panels, and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, Active Directory, and TCP/IP issues; document incidents in ServiceNow.
• Train faculty and staff and supervise up to 20 student technicians.
