Job summary

Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania in West Mifflin, PA is hiring a Level III Classroom Assistant to support children with special needs ages 3-8. The full-time position is 7 hours per day at $23 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package valued at about $6K.

Responsibilities include planning activities, supporting IEP goals, maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom, providing 1:1 instruction as needed, and assisting with behavior management and instructional programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• PA Professional Teaching Certificate in Special Education, Elementary Education, and/or Early Childhood Education required.
• Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)

The position is full-time, 7 hour days at a rate of $23 per hour. This comes with a full benefit package valued at 6K.

Benefits

• Work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 7-hours days. Working 35 hours per week, with a typical school calendar of 9.5 months per year! The hourly rate is $23. We also offer the option to earn extra income with summer employment as well.
