The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree or higher and experience working with children with severe disabilities. The role requires flexibility and the ability to implement Positive Behavior Supports effectively.

Easterseals of Southern Pennsylvania is seeking full-time Personal Care Assistant/Teaching Assistants to support the behavior and educational services provided to students in our school setting. Our school programs serve young children with severe and complex disabilities including autism, physical disabilities, and communication limitations.
The Personal Care Assistant/Teaching Assistant will fill a critical role in the expansion of Positive Behavior Supports within Easterseals. The primary role involves implementing strategies as outlined in Positive Behavior Support Plans which could include but are not limited to providing direct instruction based on the student's IEP goals. This individual will need to demonstrate flexibility in that they may be serving one student at a time or be supporting a classroom teacher in an assistant role.
