Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center seeks a Classroom Aide to support teachers in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for students with diverse needs. You will help manage the classroom, reinforce learning goals, and attend to individual student needs in a supportive team setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPI certification, and prior experience with children or in similar settings. Travel between BHSC sites may be necessary.

Formación

• CPI certification required or obtainable with BHSC support.
• Ability to maintain safe, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Experience working with children or in a classroom setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Collaborate with the classroom team on design and execution.
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Follow bus duty policies to escort children to/from classrooms.
• Adhere to breakfast/lunch procedures per NYSED/Health Dept/OCFS.
• Follow employee handbook policies and CPI-related guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Travel between BHSC locations as needed.
