This position requires a high school diploma and an ISBE paraprofessional license or eligibility. Candidates will support teachers with bulletin boards, student work displays, and basic office tasks, while also providing tutoring and attendance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Paraprofessional license (ISBE) or eligibility for one.
• Ability to work with school-aged children and follow instructions.
• Familiarity with CPS rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunchroom and playground activities.
• Provide security functions within the school, including corridors and visitor control.
• Assist students with understanding and completing assignments.
• Help teachers prepare bulletin boards and display student work.
• Operate photocopying and duplicating machines to reproduce materials.
• Maintain orderly classroom arrangements and support teachers.
• Greet and direct visitors to appropriate areas of the school.
• Assist in collecting and grading assignments and exams.
