Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician—Class B to service a wide range of delivery equipment, including heavy tractors, trailers, liftgates, and refrigeration units. The role focuses on safe, timely repairs to maximize equipment availability for deliveries.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, maintaining documentation in the Fleet Maintenance Management System, and performing preventative maintenance while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must acquire EPA 608 & EPA 609 licenses within 6 months.
• Must provide basic hand tools.
• Proficient in diagnostics and repair of brake systems, diesel engines, and refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties by following Chick-fil-A safety standards.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
• Complete documentation in the Fleet Maintenance Management System.
• Close out work orders promptly with accurate information.
• Repair tractors, trailers, liftgates, and other delivery equipment.
• Maintain and repair material handling equipment.
• Inspect brake, steering, and suspension systems for safe operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, liftgates, refrigeration, and related equipment.
• Communicate issues with Supervisor and follow traffic procedures.
