Job summary

Daniels Health in Walton, KY is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class B license to service healthcare customers in the Walton area. You will operate a 26 ft box truck, collect and deliver medical waste containers, and maintain strong customer relationships while meeting delivery schedules.

The role requires a clean driving record, a valid DOT medical card, and experience with DOT compliance, pre/post-trip inspections, and pushing a freight cart.

Qualifications

• Class B license with a clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Passing the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck safely.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load and unload and organize the truck per schedule needs.
• Comply with DOT regulations, log hours and conduct roadside inspections.
• Pushing/pulling a 200 lb cart as needed.

You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Operating26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
