Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a diesel driver with a Class A license to service the Allensville area, collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations while delivering exceptional customer service daily. You will operate straight trucks up to 53 ft, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, and ensure on-time deliveries with compliant, safe driving.

Qualifications

• Class A license with a clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft safely.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load, unload and organize truck per schedule needs.
• Comply with DOT regulations and logging hours for roadside inspections.
• Push/pull a four-wheeled cart weighing up to 200 lbs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Allensville, KY area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Operatingstraight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
