Job summary

Daniels Health seeks a driver with a Class B license and HAZMAT endorsement to service Walton, KY. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver exceptional customer service daily.

Responsibilities include operating a 26 ft box truck, adhering to DOT rules, and maintaining safety while loading/unloading and handling up to 200 lb carts. Direct hire for 40–50 hours per week with a set $26.00/hour rate.

Qualifications

• Class B license with clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
• Touch freight experience is a plus.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license with HAZMAT endorsement and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Walton, KY area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Operating26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
