Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class A license for Allensville, KY. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver excellent customer service daily at a 53ft-capable truck. This role requires a clean driving record, valid DOT medical card, and 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft safely.
• Collect and deliver medical waste containers to customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships.
• Meet delivery schedules and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload and organize truck per schedule.
• Ensure DOT compliance and roadside inspections.
• Push/pull carts weighing up to 200 lbs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Allensville, KY area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Operatingstraight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
