Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking an enthusiastic driver with a Class B license to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Walton, KY area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver a high level of customer service daily.

Responsibilities include safe truck operation, on-time deliveries, DOT compliance, and building positive customer relationships; 40–50 hours per week with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B license and clean driving record.
• Experience operating 26 ft box trucks and delivering to healthcare sites.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and required driver certifications.
• Proven ability to provide strong customer service and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
