Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a driver with a Class B license to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Walton, KY area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customers and provide exceptional customer service daily.

Expect a 1st shift from 5 AM to 3 PM, non-seasonal stable work, and full-time benefits from day one. The role emphasizes DOT compliance, on-time deliveries, and attention to safety while handling heavy carts up to 200 lbs.

Qualifications

• Class B license with a clean driving record and DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Touch freight experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck safely.
• Collect and deliver medical waste containers at customer sites.
• Provide strong customer service and build customer relationships.
• Deliver on schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load, unload, and organize the truck per schedule.
• Comply with DOT regulations and log hours; participate in inspections.
• Handle heavy carts up to 200 lbs when moving materials.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Walton, KY area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Operating26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
