Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join a safety‑minded team in Baltimore, MD. The route runs along the Eastern Seaboard and covers approximately 2,600–2,900 miles weekly.

The role offers an average annual earnings range of $200,000–$250,000, with bi‑weekly home time. Compensation includes on‑duty time paid via demurrage/hours and mileage pay, with a strong focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the top priority by complying with safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Operates tractor trailer units.
• Adheres to weight limits and ensures proper utilization of units.
• Loads and unloads hazardous/non-hazardous waste safely and secures loads.
• Placards vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Baltimore, MD! This route runs from Baltimore, MD along the Eastern Seaboard and averages 2600-2900 miles per week.

About the role:

• Average $200-250K per year

• Compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS
