Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join a safety‑conscious team operating from Memphis, TN, with a route that extends to El Dorado, AR and Baltimore, MD.

The position offers weekly home time with compensation including on‑duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non‑asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay, with average earnings of $200k–$250k per year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety and follow safe work practices at all times.
• Operate tractor-trailer units in accordance with routes and regulations.
• Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of units.
• Load/unload hazardous waste and secure loads properly.
• Placard vehicle per DOT requirements and company policy.
• Maintain daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, and trip reports.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Memphis, TN! This route runs from Memphis, TN to El Dorado, AR and Baltimore, MD and averages 2500-2600 miles per week.

About The Role

• Average $200-250K per year

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minium 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
