Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC (5 Star) is seeking a Class A OH Distribution Lineman to join our Louisville, KY team. You will perform overhead distribution work, climb poles, read meters, and operate service trucks to support safe, reliable power delivery across diverse weather and terrain.

Requirements include four years of experience, a valid State of Residence Driver License, a current Class A CDL and medical card, OSHA 10hr, and pass a criminal/MVR background check.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in electrical line work.
• Valid CDL and medical examiner card.
• OSHA 10hr certification.
• Ability to climb poles and work outdoors in all weather.
• High safety standards and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Climb poles and install/repair lines.
• Set and connect transformers and other distribution equipment.
• Operate service truck and maintain tools.
• Respond to work orders and outages.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
