Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A or B driver for our 2nd shift. The role involves transporting raw materials and finished goods between the main plant and the fulfillment warehouse. This is a full-time, Monday - Friday position, driving locally and being home every night.

Responsibilities

1. Operate company trucks for shipping and receiving.
2. Load raw materials at the fulfillment warehouse and transport to the main plant.
3. Prepare finished products for shipment, including banding, wrapping, and loading with a forklift.
4. Transport finished products from the main plant to the fulfillment warehouse.
5. Complete shipping documents accurately and timely.
6. Ensure loads are secure during transport.
7. Unload trucks as needed at various locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A/CDL license with Air Brake Endorsement or Valid Class B license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Medical card.
• At least 1 year of truck driving experience.
• Understanding of vehicle maintenance and operation.
• Ability to read maps and instructions, including dimensions and quantities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime/shifts as required.
• Prompt and reliable attendance.

Desired Skills

• Forklift certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements

Work involves exposure to dust, noise, machinery hazards, fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals. Safety toe shoes are required (company reimburses).

• Walking, standing, lifting up to 60 lbs, bending, reaching, sitting, climbing, grasping, and using hand pallet jacks and forklifts.
