Sheridan MN, a CJK Group company, (formerly Bang Printing), started in 1899 as a commercial printer in central Minnesota’s lake area and has evolved into a leading short- to mid-run book manufacturer. Sheridan offers comprehensive book solutions including printing, binding, fulfillment, eBook conversion, and eCommerce—all in-house and at competitive prices.

We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A or B driver for our 2nd shift. The role involves preparing and transporting raw materials and finished goods between the main plant and the fulfillment warehouse. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, involves local driving, and allows you to be home every night.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned or leased trucks for shipping and receiving.
• Load raw materials at the fulfillment warehouse for transport to the main plant.
• Assist in preparing finished products for shipment, including banding, wrapping, and loading with a forklift.
• Transport finished products from the main plant to the fulfillment warehouse.
• Complete shipping documents and checklists promptly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
• Secure each load properly for transportation.
• Unload trucks at the main plant, fulfillment warehouse, or customer locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A/CDL license with Air Brake Endorsement or Valid Class B license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Valid medical card.
• At least 1 year of truck driving experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation.
• Ability to read maps and written instructions, including dimensions and quantities.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work overtime, and be flexible with shifts.
• Prompt and reliable attendance.

Desired Skills

• Forklift certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a factory environment with exposure to dust, noise, machinery hazards, fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Safety toe shoes are required (company reimburses).
• Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 60 pounds, bend, reach, sit, climb, grasp, and operate hand pallet jacks and forklifts.
