Sheridan MN, a CJK Group company, (formerly Bang Printing) started out in central Minnesota’s lake area in 1899 as a commercial printer and has evolved into one of the nation’s leading short- to mid-run book manufacturers. Sheridan MN offers a complete book solution including printing, binding, fulfillment, eBook conversion, eCommerce solutions, and more—all in-house and at competitive prices.

We are looking to hire an experienced CDL Class A or B driver for our 2nd shift. The driver will transport raw materials and finished goods between the main plant and the fulfillment warehouse. This is a full-time, Monday - Friday position, driving locally and home every night.

Responsibilities

1. Operate company trucks for shipping and receiving.
2. Load raw products at the fulfillment warehouse to the main plant.
3. Prepare finished products for shipment, including banding, wrapping, and loading with a forklift.
4. Transport finished products from the main plant to the fulfillment warehouse.
5. Complete shipping documents and checklists promptly and accurately.
6. Secure loads during transportation.
7. Unload trucks at various locations as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A/CDL with Air Brake Endorsement or Class B license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Medical card.
• At least 1 year of truck driving experience.
• Understanding of vehicle maintenance and operation.
• Ability to read maps and written instructions.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work overtime, and flexible shifts.
• Reliable attendance.

Desired Skills

• Forklift certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements

Work involves exposure to dust, noise, machinery hazards, fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals. Must wear safety toe shoes (company reimburses), and be able to walk, stand, lift up to 60 pounds, bend, reach, sit, climb, grasp, and use hand pallet jacks and forklifts.
