Sheridan MN, a CJK Group company, (formerly Bang Printing) started out in central Minnesota’s lake area in 1899 as a commercial printer and has evolved into one of the nation’s leading short- to mid-run book manufacturers. Sheridan MN is looking for a Class A or Class B Driver for 2nd shift. Today, Sheridan offers a comprehensive book solution including printing, binding, fulfillment, eBook conversion, eCommerce solutions, and more—all in-house at competitive prices.

This is a full-time, Monday - Friday position, driving locally and home every night. The driver will transport raw materials and finished goods between the main plant and the fulfillment warehouse.

Duties Include

1. Operate company-owned and leased trucks for shipping and receiving.
2. Load trucks with raw products and finished goods, and assist in preparing products for shipment.
3. Ensure all shipping documents are completed accurately and timely.
4. Secure loads and unload trucks as needed.

Basic Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Valid Class A/CDL license with Air Brake Endorsement or Valid Class B license.
3. Clean driving record and ability to drive a manual transmission.
4. Medical card and 1+ year of truck driving experience.
5. Ability to understand vehicle maintenance, read maps, and meet deadlines, including overtime and shift work.

Desired Skills and Abilities

1. Forklift certification.
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements

Work involves exposure to dust, dirt, noise, machinery hazards, fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals. Physical demands include:

• Wearing safety toe shoes (company reimburses).
• Walking, standing, lifting up to 60 pounds, bending, reaching, sitting, climbing, grasping, and using hand pallet jacks and forklifts.
