Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class A license to operate straight trucks/tractor trailers up to 53 ft across the Baltimore, MD area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver excellent service daily.

The role requires DOT compliance, logging hours, and completing trips on schedule, with lifting duties up to 50 lbs and occasional heavy pushing.

Qualifications

• Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight trucks/tractor trailers up to 53 ft.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout MD/DC, operating a straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft.
• Safely collect and deliver medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
