Sharps Medical Waste Services in Baltimore is seeking a Class A CDL Long-Haul Driver to service Large Quantity and Small Quantity accounts, ensuring safe and compliant transport of medical waste with excellent customer service. This role supports same-day servicing, no sleepover routes, and involves pre/post-trip inspections, route planning, and required paperwork.

Qualifikationen

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum of 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle records check.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Aufgaben

• Complete routine scheduled preventative maintenance across assigned facilities.
• Pick up and transport regulated medical waste safely according to all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage assigned LQ and SQ customer routes, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Review and plan daily schedules using manifests and route sheets.
• Ensure customers’ waste is properly packaged and ready for transport.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, communicating issues to supervisors or dispatchers.
• Complete all required paperwork, including route documentation and DOT Driver Logs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Communicate route changes to ensure smooth coverage.
• Operate Dry Van 53’ trailers, Jockey and Roll-Off trucks, Manual Transmission, and Reefer trailers.
• Utilize ELD systems for accurate reporting and compliance.
