Job summary

CARL BUDDIG GROUP is seeking a warehouse/inventory associate at Weeden Creek - Sheboygan, WI. The role involves receiving, organizing, and safeguarding materials for food manufacturing in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, material verification, data entry into AS/400, and supporting month-end inventory. You will coordinate with vendors and issue purchase orders while maintaining a safe, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

  • Required education high school diploma or GED; or 1 to 3 months' experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Class A Driver's License. Lift truck certification (walk behind or rider).
  • Requires the ability to print and speak simple English sentences. Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  • Requires the ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds.
  • Requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Position Summary: This role is responsible for the incoming of material, managing inventory, and maintaining plant organization.

Responsibilities / Duties

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum expectations include but are not limited to:

  • Load/ unload trucks.
  • Verify incoming materials.
  • Data entry.
  • Plant organization.
  • Participate in month end inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts in AS/400.
  • Manage materials from vendors.
  • Issue purchase orders.
  • Cycle count materials.
  • Take responsibility of work area to product a safe and quality food product. Reporting all food safety and quality related problems to your manager and to the QA department to initiate immediate action.
