Job summary

Eillien’s Candies, Inc. in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a full-time Shuttle Driver/Material Handler to move product between the main plant and designated external warehouses and to perform in-state deliveries as needed.

The role requires a CDL Class A license, a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift operation and WMS experience, and the ability to load/unload and lift up to 50 pounds while adhering to food and employee safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years shuttle driving experience ideal.
• DOT medical card current.
• Experience training new employees.
• Proficient with forklift loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle product to and from designated external warehouse.

Job Details: Job Location: Main Location - Green Bay, WI, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: 2ND SHIFT 4P-2A, The Shuttle Driver/Material Handler is responsible for transporting product between the main plant and designated external warehouses, as well as completing in-state deliveries on an as-needed basis. This role may require the driver to unload their own loads at times.

Essential Functions

• Shuttle product to and from designated external warehouse
• In state deliveries to customers as needed
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift
• Reclass product using the WMS process
• Scan skids to individual trailers when loaded
• Stock product into racking in designated areas
• Ensure effective employee relations
• Assist in the training of new employees
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to allergens and moving forklifts and pallet jacks, and road condition hazards. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Intersections where work is performed may be busy. The warehouse is climate controlled.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This position is considered full-time. Both mandatory and voluntary overtime will be required to meet business needs. Schedule is subject to change with or without notice.

Travel

There is no personal travel for this position, however frequent travel in a company truck.

Education, Skills, and Experience

• CDL Class A, minimum requirement
• Must have a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent desired but not required
• Previous experience and/or training in driving is helpful but not required
• Previous experience training new employees
• 3-5 years’ experience in a shuttle driving environment ideal
• Current DOT Physical and maintained on a yearly basis.
