About Climate Express

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We employ 200 company drivers who help keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet consists of safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong and capable of getting things done.

Equipment

Our trucks are 2022 or newer Volvo 760s, automatic, featuring ergonomic seats, perfect steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right-way scales, and Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. Maintenance is handled on-site, along with truck and trailer washes.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 cents per mile, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional compensation for detention, layovers, and other factors is available. Drivers earn an average of $2,600 to $3,200 weekly, paid weekly via direct deposit, with no hold periods.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop-and-hook. The remaining loads involve one pick and one drop. We primarily operate in the middle corridor of the US, avoiding NYC, ports, borders, and west of Denver, CO. Freight includes dry van and reefer loads, mostly contracted, with no dedicated routes. We utilize major highways and Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Rider & Canine Policies

Riders: 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1.

Canine: $500 fee per pet; can bring 2 small or 1 large dog. Deduction of $100 weekly until paid off. Policy is non-refundable once the pet is in the truck. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
