Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We operate with 200 company drivers who keep families supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet consists of safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong and committed to getting things done.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760 trucks, automatic transmission. Features include ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right-way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, on-site maintenance, and wash bay facilities.

Pay

- Starting at .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays for detention, layovers, and other factors, with an average weekly pay of $2,600-$3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

- Drivers receive 2 full days off after 12-14 days out in our area. Some may stay out longer and get up to 4 days off. Home time is confirmed in writing before hiring and honored accordingly. Flexibility for personal needs and events is available.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over 55% is drop-and-hook; the rest involves 1 pick-up and 1 drop. We mainly haul dry van and reefer loads in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, and borders. No dedicated routes; mostly contracted freight with major highway routing.

Rider & Canine Policies

- One passenger aged 12 or older, available from day one. Canine policy allows 2 small or 1 large dog, with a $500 fee and weekly deductions until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
