Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! Our 200 company drivers keep families supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks
• Ergonomically designed seats and perfect steering
• 70" L / 96" W sleepers
• Pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators
• Auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter
• Dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios
• Right way scales and Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges
• On-site repair facility and wash bay

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensation. Average weekly pay is $2600-$3200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out in our running area. Some may stay out longer with additional days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over half is drop and hook; the rest is 1 pick-1 drop. We operate dry van and reefer trailers, mostly in the US middle corridor. No NY City, ports, or borders. Freight is mainly contracted, with most loads on major highways. No dedicated routes.

Rider Policy

One passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1.

Canine Policy

$500 fee per pet, with a deduction of $100 weekly until paid. Up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog. No cats, reptiles, or birds.

Requirements
