About Climate Express

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We employ 200 company drivers who help supply families across America with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and reliable home time. We are a team committed to getting things done together.

Equipment

Our trucks are 2022 or newer Volvo 760 models, automatic, with safety and comfort in mind. Features include ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with a 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, and right-way scales on trucks and trailers. We have an on-site repair facility and wash bays for maintenance.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 cents per mile, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pay such as detention and layover are determined per load and hours. Drivers can expect weekly averages between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold times.

Home Time

Drivers typically get two full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may stay out longer in outlying areas and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon in advance and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop-and-hook. The rest involves 1 pick-up and 1 drop. We operate dry van and reefer trailers, mostly in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, borders, and west of Denver. Freight is mostly contracted, with a mix of dry van and reefer loads, utilizing major highways and Pilot/Flying J fueling stations.

Policies

• Rider Policy: 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1.
• Canine Policy: $500 fee per pet, with a deduction of $100 weekly until paid. Allows for two small or one large dog. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
