Job Description

Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Volvos are the safest truck on the road!
• Ergonomically designed seats and perfectly positioned steering
• 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators
• Auxiliary power units (manual power inverter with 3500W)
• Dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios
• Right way scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges
• On-site repair facility for maintenance and wash bay

Pay

Start pay: .55cpm - .58cpm, paid loaded or empty on practical miles. Additional pays for detention, layover, and other factors. Weekly average: $2600-$3200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. No hold.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out within our running area. Some areas may allow longer stays and up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring in writing. Drivers can request additional days for events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

• 98% freight originates in MO
• 55%+ drop and hook, rest 1 pick-1 drop
• Dry van and reefer loads, no slaughterhouses or ports
• Major highways, no NY City or west of Denver CO
• Mostly contracted freight, no dedicated routes

Rider Policy

1 passenger 12+ years, available from day 1

Canine Policy

$500 fee per pet, 2 small or 1 large dog, weekly deduction of $100 until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
