Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! We operate with 200 company drivers, ensuring families across America are supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet consists of safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks with features including ergonomic seats, optimal steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, on-site repair facilities, and wash bay.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 cents per mile, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional compensation includes detention, layover, and other load-based pay. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers, especially in outlying areas, may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop and hook. The remaining loads are 1 pick-1 drop, dry van or reefer (climate-controlled) loads, mostly in the US middle corridor. No New York City, no force dispatch west of Denver, no ports or borders. Freight is primarily contracted, utilizing major highways and a mix of dry van and reefer loads. No dedicated routes; we have Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Rider & Canine Policies

One passenger aged 12 or older is allowed from day one. Pets are permitted with a $500 fee for up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog, with a weekly deduction until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
