Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. Our 200 company drivers help families across America receive essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and reliable home time. We are a team, strong and united, committed to getting things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks
• Features include ergonomic seats, perfect steering position, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mount, satellite radios
• On-site repair facility, wash bay, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges

Pay

Starting at .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pay for detention, layovers, and other factors, with weekly averages of $2600-$3200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out, with some areas possibly longer. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can accommodate special needs. Outlying areas may have longer trips with up to 4 days off.

Loads & Routes

Most freight originates in Missouri, with over half being drop-and-hook. Other freight involves 1 pick and 1 drop, mostly dry van and reefer loads, avoiding NYC, ports, and borders. No dedicated routes; mostly contracted freight on major highways, including Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Additional Policies

• Rider policy: 1 passenger, 12 years or older, available immediately
• Canine policy: $500 fee per pet, with weekly deductions, no policy for cats, reptiles, or birds
