About Climate Express

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We operate with 200 company drivers who keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong and capable of getting things done together.

Equipment

Our trucks are 2022 or newer Volvo 760s, automatic, designed for safety and comfort. Features include ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right way scales on trucks and trailers, and Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. We also have an on-site repair facility and wash bay.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Drivers earn an average of $2600-$3200 weekly, paid weekly via direct deposit. There are no holds on pay.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our running area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off, with home time agreed upon prior to hiring and documented in writing. We aim to accommodate special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop and hook. The rest involves 1 pick-1 drop loads. We primarily haul dry van and reefer trailers, mostly in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, borders, and west of Denver. We focus on major highways and contracted freight, with no dedicated routes.

Rider & Canine Policies

Riders over 12 years old are allowed from day 1. Pets require a $500 fee, with a weekly deduction until paid off; policy is non-refundable once the pet is in the truck. No policies are available for cats, reptiles, or birds.
