About Climate Express

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. Our team of 200 company drivers ensures that families nationwide receive essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and reliable home time. We are a team, strong and dedicated, committed to getting things done.

Equipment

Our fleet includes 2022 or newer Volvo 760 trucks, automatic transmission, with features such as ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right-way scales, and an on-site repair facility. We also have wash bays for truck and trailer washes.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 cents per mile, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional compensation is available for detention, layovers, and other load-specific factors. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold times.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop-and-hook. The rest involves one pick-up and one drop. We operate dry van and reefer trailers, primarily in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, borders, and west of Denver. Most freight is contracted, with some dedicated routes, and we use major highways and Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Rider & Canine Policies

One passenger aged 12 or older is allowed from day one. Pets are permitted with a $500 fee per pet, allowing two small or one large dog, with deductions until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
