About Climate Express

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We employ 200 company drivers who help keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong and capable of getting things done together.

Equipment

Our trucks are 2022 or newer Volvo 760s, automatic, with ergonomic seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat screen TV mounts, satellite radios, and right-way scales on trucks and trailers. We have an on-site repair facility and a wash bay for maintenance and cleaning.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional compensation is provided for detention, layovers, and other factors. Drivers earn an average of $2,600 to $3,200 weekly, paid weekly via direct deposit. There are no holdbacks, and work completed this week is paid the following week.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off, with home time scheduled and confirmed prior to hiring. We aim to accommodate special events and appointments when possible.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop-and-hook. The fleet transports dry van and reefer loads mainly in the US middle corridor, avoiding New York City, ports, borders, and west of Denver, CO. We utilize major highways and contracted freight, with no dedicated routes. Fueling is available at Pilot/Flying J locations.

Policies

• Rider Policy: 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1.
• Canine Policy: $500 fee per pet, with a deduction of $100 weekly until paid. Allows for two small or one large dog. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
