Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! We have 200 company drivers who keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomically designed seats, perfect steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site repair facility and wash bay available.

Pay

- Starting pay: .55cpm - .58cpm. Paid loaded or empty on practical miles. Additional pays for detention, layover, and other factors. Average weekly pay: $2600-$3200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. Immediate pay for work completed.

Home Time

- Drivers get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may stay out longer and get up to 4 days off, with prior written agreement. Home time needs should be communicated to dispatch. Accommodations for special events and appointments can be made.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over 55% is drop and hook. The remainder involves 1 pick-1 drop loads. Mostly dry van and reefer trailers. Freight is primarily in the US middle corridor, avoiding NY City, ports, and borders. No dedicated routes; mostly contracted freight. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J locations.

Rider & Canine Policies

- One passenger 12 years or older, available from day 1. Pet policy: $500 fee, up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog, with weekly deduction until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
