Job Description

Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. The safest trucks on the road! Ergonomically designed seats, perfect steering, 70" L /96 W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, Auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, Dual antennas, Flat screen TV mount, satellite radios. On-site repair and wash facilities.

Pay

Start pay: .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays for detention, layover, etc. Average weekly pay: $2600-$3200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. Immediate payment for work done this week.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out in our area. Some may stay out longer with additional compensation. Home time is agreed upon in writing before hiring. We accommodate special events and appointments when possible.

Loads & Routes

98% freight originates in MO, with over 55% drop and hook. Mostly dry van and reefer loads, no NY City, no ports, no borders. Mostly highway runs, no dedicated routes. Most freight is contracted. Drivers use Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Rider Policy

One passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1.

Canine Policy

$500 fee per pet, up to 2 small or 1 large dog, with weekly deductions until paid. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
