Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! We have 200 company drivers who keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time.

Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760 automatic trucks, considered among the safest on the road. Features include ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, auxiliary power units with built-in inverter, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mount, satellite radios, right-way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, on-site repair facilities, and wash bays.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays for detention, layover, and extras are determined per load. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop-and-hook. The fleet transports dry van and reefer loads, primarily in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, and borders. No dedicated routes; drivers run on major highways and utilize Pilot/Flying J fueling stations.

Rider & Canine Policies

One passenger aged 12 or older is allowed from day one. Pets are permitted with a $500 fee per pet, allowing 2 small or 1 large dog, with weekly deductions until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
