Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! We have 200 company drivers who keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet consists of safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomic seats, optimal steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, on-site maintenance, and wash bay.

Pay

- Starting at .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Average weekly pay ranges from $2,600 to $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

- Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can accommodate special events or appointments upon request.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop and hook. The rest involves 1 pick-1 drop loads. We haul dry van and reefer freight, mostly in the US middle corridor, avoiding NY City, ports, and borders. No dedicated routes; drivers run on major highways and use Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Rider & Canine Policies

- One passenger 12 years or older, available from day one. Pet policy: $500 fee per pet, two small or one large dog, with weekly deductions until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
