About Climate Express

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. Our team of 200 company drivers ensures families across America receive essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and reliable home time. We are a team, strong and dedicated to getting things done.

Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760 trucks, automatic transmission. Features include ergonomic seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right-way scales, and an on-site repair facility.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 cents per mile, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays for detention, layovers, and other factors. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some may stay out longer with extra compensation. Home time is confirmed in writing prior to hire, and drivers can request specific days off.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop and hook. The fleet transports dry van and reefer loads primarily in the US middle corridor, avoiding NY City, ports, borders, and west of Denver. No dedicated routes; mostly contracted freight.

Policies
