Overview

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We employ 200 company drivers who help keep families supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and reliable home time. We are a team committed to getting things done together.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks
• Ergonomically designed seats and optimized steering
• 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators
• Auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter
• Dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios
• Right way scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges
• On-site repair facility and wash bay

Pay

Start pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some areas may allow longer periods out with up to 4 days off. Home time is confirmed in writing prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop and hook. The rest involves 1 pick-1 drop loads. We operate primarily in the US middle corridor, avoiding New York City, ports, and borders. Freight includes dry van and reefer loads, mostly contracted, with no dedicated routes. We utilize major highways and Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Additional Policies

• Rider policy: 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1
• Canine policy: $500 fee per pet, with a weekly deduction until paid, allowing 2 small or 1 large dog. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
