About Climate Express

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We currently have 200 company drivers who ensure families across America receive essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and reliable home time. We are a team committed to getting things done together.

Equipment

Our trucks are 2022 or newer Volvo 760 models, automatic, with safety features and ergonomic designs. They include 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, and right-way scales on trucks and trailers with Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. Maintenance is on-site, with wash bays available.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $0.55 to $0.58 per mile, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pay for detention, layover, and other factors is determined per load and driver hours. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. There are no holds on pay.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may have longer periods out and additional days off, with prior written agreement. We accommodate special requests for home time when possible. Drivers do not accrue days off weekly but can request additional days for events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop-and-hook. The rest involves 1 pick-up and 1 drop-off. We operate dry van and reefer trailers, mostly in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, borders, and west of Denver. Freight is mostly contracted, with no dedicated routes. We use major highways and Pilot/Flying J fueling stations.

Passenger and Pet Policies

Passengers aged 12 and older are allowed from day 1. Pets are permitted with a $500 fee for up to 2 small or 1 large dog, with weekly deductions until paid off. No policies are available for cats, reptiles, or birds.
