Job summary

QXO is seeking a safety-focused CDL A Driver to transport building materials to customer locations and job sites. You will load, unload, secure, and verify loads while complying with DOT/FMCSA regulations and our safety standards.

In this fast-paced, outdoor role, you will perform touch-freight, inspect loads, communicate with the dispatcher, and help ensure timely deliveries, with PPE provided and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CDL A license and have at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Ability to operate forklift or moffett is a plus.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting, carrying, and unloading products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site for safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.
