Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products. The CDL Driver (Class A or B) role combines safe driving with hands‑on loading, unloading, and securing materials at customer sites. Depending on the unit, deliveries may include oversized loads and require a safety‑driven approach.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑minded, and capable of working in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll interact with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and hold a valid Class A or B CDL license.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials safely and timely to customer locations and job sites.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and securing materials.
• Perform touch‑freight tasks and verify load accuracy.
• Inspect the truck and communicate hazards to branch management.
• Maintain regular contact with the dispatcher to ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Follow DOT safety procedures and wear PPE.
