Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; three years in insurance preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of WC regulations CT/VT/NH/RI and adjusting techniques.
• Supervisory experience and strong leadership abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, judgment and negotiation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise claims staff and provide technical direction through diary management.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation of claim activity.
• Plan staff responsibilities and direct activities to meet department goals.
• Develop staff for future needs and career development.
• Extend settlement authority within policy limits when appropriate.
• Monitor trends and provide actionable insights across the portfolio.
