Qualifications

• 4 years of commercial claims experience required; auto claims experience required.
• Experience handling litigated files and knowledge of municipal clients.
• Multi-state claims experience required; carrier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate assigned claims for coverage, liability, damages, subrogation and contribution.
• Establish and adjust reserves with documented rationale.
• Notify claims management when exposure exceeds authority.
• Negotiate claims resolution within granted authority.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to disposition claims.
• Manage service vendors to balance expense and loss outcome.
• Maintain diary system and claim pending to resolve claims.
• Ensure timely disposition in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements for assigned territory.
