Old Republic BITCO is seeking a Claims Manager to join our Des Moines, IA branch. The role leads the day-to-day operations of the claims team, coaches staff, ensures timely handling of multi-line WC and GL claims, and drives service excellence with regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience handling multi-line workers' compensation and general liability claims.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of coverage, negligence principles, investigation, and negotiation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the work of the claims team, including quality, quantity and timeliness of work.
• Maintains current company processes and procedures; provides coaching and performance feedback.
• Oversees investigations, reserves and settlement negotiations; ensures regulatory compliance.
