Job summary

Old Republic Commercial Risk is seeking an experienced claims professional to investigate commercial property, auto and liability claims, reserve appropriately, and resolve claims to achieve favorable outcomes.

You will work with internal and external partners, manage service vendors, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering superior customer service. A strong background in multi-state commercial claims and litigated files is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4 years of commercial claims experience required; auto claims experience required; property and GL experience a plus.
• Familiarity with coverage, negligence principles, investigation and negotiation techniques.
• Experience with multi-state claims; handling litigated files; municipal clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate assigned claims for coverage, liability, damages, subrogation and contribution.
• Establish reserves with documented rationale and adjust as needed.
• Negotiate resolutions within authority and communicate with partners.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to disposition claims.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and diary system for claims.
