Job summary

Steadily Insurance Company in Overland Park, KS is hiring a Claims Team Lead to guide and mentor our team of Claims Adjusters, ensuring fast, easy, and compliant experiences for customers. You will roll up your sleeves to adjust claims during peaks and CAT events.

You will manage settlement authority, conduct file reviews, and serve as the primary liaison with carrier partners, building scalable operations for our rapidly growing team.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years adjusting P&C property claims with leadership experience.
• Active insurance license required.
• Experience guiding adjusters and handling CAT responses is a plus.
• Proficient with Xactimate and standard claims practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and development to Claims Adjusters and Associate Adjusters.
• Manage claim authority grants, coverage reviews, and high-dollar approvals.
• Act as liaison between Steadily and insurance carriers to ensure compliance.
• Audit files for documentation and regulatory adherence.
• Establish workflows and scalable operations for a growing team.
• Assist during high volume or CAT events by handling claims directly.
