Job summary

Steadily Insurance Company is seeking a full-time in-office Claims Adjuster in Overland Park, KS. You will guide customers through the claims process with empathy and speed, establishing new claims, obtaining required reports, and issuing payments under the policy.

You must have 1+ year of P&C claims adjustment and an active adjuster license. Xactimate experience is preferred; knowledge of homeowners, condo, and landlord insurance is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience adjusting P&C insurance claims.
• Must possess an adjuster license.
• Experience with homeowners, condo and landlord insurance is a plus.
• Xactimate experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn Steadily's claims handling approach for a fast, easy experience.
• Establish new claims via First Notice of Loss.
• Request appraisals, estimates, cause & origin reports and other documents for investigations.
• Communicate with customers via phone, text, email or mail.
• Review estimates and reports and issue payments as per policy.
• Maintain high-quality claim files with documentation and timely diary entries.
• Prepare exterior estimates with accuracy and detail.
• Assist the team during catastrophes and in ongoing workflows.
