Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. is seeking a Claims Specialist to support day-to-day administration of workers' compensation, general liability, auto liability, and other insured or self-insured claims.

You will handle intake, documentation, tracking, reporting, and follow-up while coordinating with Legal, HR, Safety, Operations, and external partners. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in claims administration, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in claims administration or related role preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent education preferred.
• Basic understanding of claims administration, insurance processes, workers' compensation, and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist with claim intake, reporting, documentation, tracking, and follow-up for various claims.
• Serve as internal contact for employees and leaders regarding claims matters.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, TPAs, medical providers and vendors.
• Review and organize claim information, incident reports, and medical restrictions.
• Support workers' compensation administration and return-to-work communications.
• Prepare claim summaries and status updates for internal reporting.
• Assist with incident documentation and safety reporting.
• Track claim activity and loss data to support reporting and improvement.
