Veit is seeking a Claims Specialist to manage day-to-day administration of workers’ compensation, general liability, auto liability, and related claims. You will coordinate with HR, Safety, Legal, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate records and timely claim handling.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree and 1–2 years of claims administration experience, strong organizational skills, and proficient use of MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent education/experience considered.
• 1–2 years of claims administration, insurance support, risk management, or related role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Support claim intake, reporting, documentation, tracking, and follow-up for various claims.
• Serve as internal point of contact for employees, supervisors, HR, Safety, Operations, and Legal.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, third‑party admins, medical providers, and vendors.
• Maintain claim information, incident reports, and related records with confidentiality.
• Assist with workers’ compensation administration, return-to-work communications, and follow-up with HR and Safety.
• Prepare claim summaries and internal loss reports as requested.
• Monitor claim activity and support process improvements.
